Anabella Pena Monzon is the name of Uxmal Artist who is a Public Work Artist in Seattle, Kansas and California. Awarded by Federal Executive Board for her commitment to Hispanic Arts, she was nominated to have the keys to the City in Kansas City, Missouri, by Mayor Richard Berkley. She taught the first Youth Training programs offered to Low Income Youth by Parks and Recreation in Seattle and Kansas City. She is the Muralist who painted the I-90 Pedestrian Tunnel and metro shelters in Seattle, hired by  Department of Transportation . She established The USHAC, United States Greater Kansas City Hispanic Arts Council through US National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and painted a picture of President Reagan for The White House.   She exhibeted her work at The Nashville Association Convention  held in Mexico City.

She has taught over 5,000 youth in Artist in Residencies sponsored by State and City Arts Council.; painting like 50 Public Works Murals. She won the Rainer Beach Library Mural Compettion, North Land Art Festival.

She help coordinate and collaborated on "Above The Thunder" , a best seller that sold over 6 million copies produced by Mental Health a book about people for the people, also published a book for School District.

She has received awards for teaching at Leavenworth Prison and programs like DARE, "say no and be proud cassette" produced by 200 kids from Seattle Housing Authority, and North West Folk Life.. She received awards from COSMHO. Image, Federal Agencis and Crow Center Professional Women.

She is committed to help others through "Healing through the Arts"  She was finalist at FORMA for the Children Hortophedical Radiology Wing Annex in Seattle, program where concept developed..
